Jemima Rhys-Evans is Director of Charles Dickens Research School and The Charter Institute. She works to support schools to make use of evidence to improve pupil outcomes, especially for those experiencing disadvantage. In addition to Fluency Focus, Jemima has led two regional research projects on teacher workload, the conclusions of which are published in the practical guide Mark Less, Mark Better.  Prior to teaching, Jemima worked in theatre publishing.
